About Me
Recipient of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus in Film/Video/New Media/Animation at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago
Most of my concepts are based on human interaction with nature, the effect humans have had on their environments, and a representation of these consequences through an abstract blend of human parts and plant-like features. I study the more minute features of life. I am interested in anatomy and the human stream of consciousness. I look at what it means to be alive and how we process the world around us. I try to find the beauty in the obscure or the inconspicuous.
Below is a first look at my process and interests. All images below were taken from my personal sketchbook and were created entirely in pen from start to finish. I call them my blobbies. They live rent-free in my mind, and I constantly sketch them throughout my workday. These are only a select few, and some of my personal favorites. In my opinion, they are a look into the chaos that is my mind.
